Dear Friends, It is our honor to post below the recent sermon given by Jim Youngblood on Memorial Day 2009. He is the Clerk of Session at Northwood and is a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer Three who served our nation for twenty-years. Jim is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, Operation Joint Forge in Bosnia, and Operation Southern Watch in Saudi Arabia. While in the Army, he served as an Intelligence Analyst, specializing in counterterrorism analysis. He currently works as a Defense Contractor for US Special Operations Command as the senior counterterrorism Analyst and serves on the Evangelism and Church Development Committee for the Presbytery of Tampa Bay.
