Kid's Corner Pre-School
In-house registration (currently enrolled, church members and siblings)
begins March 5, 2012.
Public registration begins Monday morning March 12, 2012 at 8:00am. Registration fee is $100.00 and registration forms are available on at the school.
We are a N.A.E.Y.C. accredited school and have been in the community for 28 years. Come and give us a look!
Kid’s Corner Pre-school is a caring, Christian school dedicated to the development and advancement of the whole child. We have been in the community for over 20 years.
We are licensed by the Pinellas County License Board as a Day Nursery. We are accredited by N.A.E.Y.C. (National Association for the Education of Young Children), the premiere accreditation for pre - schools. We are also a Gold Seal Quality School as set by the standards of the Fla. Dept. of Education. We are a VPK provider, which is the Universal FREE Pre- K program, run by the Fla. Dept. of Ed., for 4 yr. olds. Most of our children start Kid’s Corner as 2 yr. olds, moving to the 3’s and then VPK
Our Director is starting her 17th year and is constantly looking for ways to enrich and better our program. Many of the staff have been with us for years. All of our staff have met exacting standards and qualifications. Our 4 yr. olds have music once a week from the Music Director of the church. The 3’s and 4’s go to the gym once a week for instruction in gross motor play, physical well being and games. During the school year we have many family involved activities, such as a Thanksgiving Feast, a Christmas Program and a Mother’s Day Tea just to name a few.
We believe we have the knowledge and experience to prepare children for Kindergarten.
Our purpose is to provide a stimulating environment in which children can learn through play in an atmosphere of love and understanding. Pre-school skills will be age appropriately developed through social interaction, creating and making projects and experiential activities. We are committed to providing training and care for your children to learn, grow and enjoy themselves all in the light of God’s Love.

Lunch Bunch extends
the day to 2:15PM for children ages 3 and 4. This is not a drop
in program and the price difference is as follows. 1 day =
$45.00, 2 days = $60.00, 3 days = $80.00, 4 days =
$90.00, and 5 days = $100.00. Any further questions, please

Northwood Child Care and Summer Camp
These programs are designed to provide a
stimulating environment in which children have the opportunity to work
and play in an atmosphere of love and understanding. These programs are
provided for children Kindergarten thru 5th Grade. We offer a creative
program structured to recognize the need for each child to move and pace
themselves. Our programs give the children an opportunity to interact
with each other and to learn the spirit of friendship.
These programs are in a
Christian atmosphere and will provide fun as well as safety. Our
children are served a healthy snack everyday and they are also given the
time and assistance to do their homework everyday, followed by
supervised free play, including, but not limited to, outdoor and gym
times, arts and crafts, games etc.
Northwood summer camp will begin taking registrations
for school aged children only on April 2 (currently enrolled children)
and April 9 (public). The registration fee is $35. Cost for
summer camp in $90 per week plus a $20 activity fee. Parents are
responsible for $90 fee for all weeks your child is registered, but will
only pay the activity fee for weeks your child attends. Hours for
summer camp are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Northwood's Summer Program is an active summer
experience with Field trips, (such as MOSI, The Forida Aquarium, etc.)
on site experiences as well as crafts, structured play as well as free
time. Our staff is well trained and experienced in working with children
and your child will have a safe and enjoyable summer here at Northwood.
Registration for our Before and After Schools programs
will begin July 9 for currently enrolled students and open to the Public
July 16.
Hours and prices for the Before and After Care programs
are as follows:
$25.00 registration fee
Before Care 7 to 8:15 $35.00 a week
After Care 3 to 6 (2 to 6 on Wed.) $50.00 a week
Both before and after $55.00 a week
This is a full time program, we do not offer part time care.
The
Director of the Before / After and Summer Programs, is Vicki Conolly who
has served as Northwood's Director of Schools. We feel that our programs provide a much-needed service to the
community and feel very honored that we are able to provide such a
service.
