Discovering Northwood New Member Orientation Dates – Fall/Winter 2008/2009:

We are delighted you are worshipping with us and are expressing an interest in Northwood Presbyterian Church. For those who have expressed an interest in becoming members of this congregation, (or those wishing to learn more about us), this web page is your invitation to the next New Member Orientation which we call, “Discovering Northwood”

If you are simply visiting or inquiring about Northwood, we want you to know you are welcome to come and observe the membership process without "having to join" at this time. Many "interested visitors" attend these meetings and make a decision to become members at the conclusion of the orientation as they find the class informative, in what we believe as Christians.  The three class meetings cover information about being a Christian in today’s world, discovering your Christian gifts, being “Presbyterian”, and all the opportunities for you and your family at Northwood.

Seasonal residents, “snow birds”, are invited and encouraged to consider affiliate membership with Northwood.  Affiliate Membership allows those worshipping with us in the winter months to make a commitment with us while still maintaining their current membership with her home church up north..

*The public recognition of new members will normally take place on the Sunday following the conclusion of these classes on the dates noted above.
